Nude men images in homoerotic Stripes

Nude Men images in black and white – homoerotic stripes experiment

Following photos are works of a photographer Stef Lohstroh. The name of very sexy young model is Jeroen Kerkhof. I could not find any information about him. Photos are part of an old album and created in 2014. I find them interesting enough to present them some seven years after their creation. As every other art, photography is timeless. I would love to know what equipment was used in their creation. However, chances of finding out are really small. I would madly like to know if these photos are made with camera using good old film. Some professional photographers kept using cameras with film long after digital took over the mainstream market. That is not a reason not to enjoy in observing them. Let’s go!

The stripes are not product of a natural shadow. I believe that stripes were added later. What technique and software were used for that? I don’t know. However, it made an interesting collection. I am not sure about effects of this technique though. One thing is for sure – it made these photos DIFFERENT. It would be hard to tell but, imagine if stripes are not there. Without them it could turn to be just another bunch of photos of nude men. Similar to many others.

The source

Photos were originally published by Clean magazine. My search efforts to find out more about the magazine turned no results. I guess Google took them off. I can only guess it was some sort of photography magazine that ceased to exist since. It would be nice to know more about them as well. Have then vanished together with good old film? If anyone knows anything – please let me know.

Photography is much more than just taking shots. Post-production is often as important as taking photos itself. What we see as a public is the final product of intriguing process.
