This Wednesday we had a really great night out and I want to share it with you. Actually, I want to invite you to come to Siem Reap and check it out yourself. You will not be disappointed!
One of our regulars to River Queen Guest-house invited Richard and I for a night out and we were more than happy to accept it. It has been a while since we went out for more than just dinner and then rushing back to the guest-house – as this month has been busy beyond our expectations.
Ray, our guest from Australia, suggested to start with dinner at Miss Wong’s restaurant to enjoy some really great food in a very nice atmosphere with beautiful décor making you feel like you are somewhere in Shanghai or Singapore.
Wednesday is one of four show nights at Station Wine Bar so that was our next stop. However, we stopped by at Silk Garden Bar and Restaurant to see our friend who owns and operates it – another Aussie ex-pat in Siem Reap.
Once we finished our drink and exchanged gossip with Paul we had to rush to the Station Wine Bar to get there on time for the show! We got there just in time meaning I could not grab the best table for taking photos right in front of the stage but I hope that the photos you see here are not too bad. The place was packed and we spotted two of our other guests in the crowd.
I know I am going to get myself in a bit of a trouble by saying this but it needs to be said – The show in Station Wine Bar in Siem Reap is the best show in the town and I dare to challenge bars in Phnom Penh and even in Bangkok to prove they can do better. What is so special about the show at this venue is that the performers and particularly the leading performer are not just dancers but real entertainers who interact with spectators in the best possible and very natural way.
Enjoy the photos and videos and come to see it yourself as Siem Reap is becoming THE PLACE TO VISIT for LGBT travellers. YOU WILL LOVE IT!
